Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty Company, Announces New Executive to Oversee Healthcare Group in Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. – September 8, 2015 – Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company, announces the promotion of Josh Condon to project executive for the healthcare group in the Portland office. In his new role, Condon will provide strategic oversight to the healthcare team while ensuring the highest level of service is provided to all clients and partners. He is committed to providing the team with the tools and opportunities they need to build upon the company’s long legacy of delivering quality healthcare work in the Northwest.
Condon is a strong believer that an individual may be great, but only a team can achieve greatness. “Josh is proven leader whose dedication and guidance resonates with both his teammates and clients,” said Troy Dickson, senior vice president of Balfour Beatty Construction. “We couldn’t be more pleased to see how Josh will transform his past successes into new opportunities for both his team and our partners.”
Condon joined the company almost 10 years ago as a project engineer and quickly proved himself to be a valuable asset, being promoted just two years later to project manager. He has delivered numerous large-scale and complex healthcare projects for high-profile providers including Legacy Health, PeaceHealth, Kaiser Permanente, and Providence Health & Services. Condon credits his successes in the healthcare field to these long-term partnerships and his experience building innovative community-based projects like the award-winning Peace Island Medical Center in the San Juan Islands, St. John Medical Center Tower and Lakefront Medical Office Building in Longview, Wash., and the soon-to-be-completed Providence Guest Housing project in Portland.
Condon graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and holds an accreditation in LEED. He is a member of several healthcare engineering associations including the Oregon Society for Healthcare Engineering (OSHE) and a current participant in the Portland Business Alliance’s Leadership Portland Program. Condon plays an integral role in the recruiting efforts of the Portland office, providing mentorship to the next generation of construction managers.
